2026-27 Split Season Shamrocks

We operate only at the 16U and 19U level. Players who are 14U eligible and in 9th grade can try out for 16U if they expect to play HS Varsity hockey.

The fall schedule focuses on playing 20+ games in Vermont and NY, with occasional games in CT and MA. Our season starts in mid-August and ends the weekend after Thanksgiving.

As a state-wide team, we try to play home games in a central location. We have played home games at Stowe, Highgate, Essex, Waterbury, Cairns, and Spartan Arena.

Practices and games are on Sundays, with an occasional Saturday evening event.

The fall schedule focuses on playing 20+ games in New England and NY, and one local and one away tournament. Our season starts in mid-August and ends the weekend after Thanksgiving.

We supply players with club-owned jerseys, and they keep the socks. New players purchase a pant shell at cost from Kevin Smiths.

Our fees reflect ONLY our expenses (ice, refs, jerseys, insurance, web fees, etc). We are a true non-profit run by an all-volunteer staff. 

We have no paid employees. Thus, our fees are comparatively low. Last season, 16/19U players paid a $150 deposit after making the team, then either paid an additional $560 in September or paid four installments of $140 per month. Our total fees were $710. There were no additional costs.
