Coaching Staff
Our coaches are all volunteers yet have extensive coaching and/or playing experience at the youth, high school, junior, and NCAA levels.
We expect all our coaches to:
- focus on the kids
- be good communicators with players, parents, and referees
- be confident motivators
- focus on team play
- have well-thought-out game plans and managed practices
- be able to control emotions
- always have a positive attitude
- continue to learn

Savanna Poole has coached with the Shamrocks for multiple seasons with both split and spring teams.
Savanna grew up in Maine and remembers playing a handful of tough games against the Shamrocks. She works as a math teacher at a local school and also coaches with G4H. Before moving to Burlington with her partner, she taught and coached at Vermont Academy for four years.
As a player Savanna competed for Saint Anselm College as a defenseman, graduating in 2017. Before matriculating, to Saint Anselm Savanna played for Kents Hill School and various Maine hockey organizations similar to the Shamrocks.
